Let’s Pet Puppies has a challenge in their new, craptacular series, “Disaster!” Every month, they will commission a new comedy and mount it in the most terrible ways possible. They are set to self-destruct on Wednesday, July 17th at 8pm at The Public House Theatre. Tickets cost $10. Offenses continue on the third Wednesday of every month.
“Disaster” is a deliberate comedy of errors. The actors have no talent. The director has no vision, and the stage manager has no direction. Every month, they commission a new and awful play from a different playwright. For one hour, in the guise of earnest effort, they rip it to shreds. What may be expected with the reveal of each month’s script is never what comes to pass.
More Coming Soon
Let’s Pet Puppies (Kristal Burk, Greg Guiliano, Aileen Reed, Timothy Steinmetz, and Benjamin Vigeant) has previously been seen in “The Telethon,” at The Playground Theater. The long-running, monthly show was created by Guiliano and Vigeant. The group will commission a new writer for their “bad play” every month. This month’s writer is Zack Mast.
“Disaster!” is produced by Sherra Lasley and The Public House Theatre.
